Playing with my Mego Batman and Robin dolls in 1973! Bruce and I took them everywhere we went. One time we took them in a hot tub at a hotel while on family vacation and the heat caused the rubber bands that held the doll together to melt. We were so bummed out! Bruce's awesome parents stopped at a toy store and bought us replacements so we could have a fun vacation. Those were such awesome times.

These are still shots from our Super 8mm disaster movie "FLOOD". Bruce and I are trying to save our friend Daniel from the floodwaters; which was just a lake! Why we thought this would pass for a raging flood is beyond me. Anyway, our friend Daniel overacted so much that Bruce and I used to look at these still images and die laughing!

This album was a staple in my childhood. I can't tell you how much fun Bruce and I had listening to this album.

I just had to share this photo. I saw it on social media today. This is a kid (just like me) who became the proud owner of a Chewbacca mask released by Don Post Studios in the summer of 1977. In episode one of "The Star Wars Phenomenon" I tell my own story of begging my parents to drive me to California to pick up a Darth Vader mask directly from the Don Post factory in Glendale. They gave me a tour of the factory and at the end handed me the box and said, "Jon, you are the first customer in the world to receive this mask". Quite a mind blowing experience for a 13 year old Star Wars fanatic! https://youtu.be/1WSw49ccyHM
